If you don't know me, my name is Latifahia and my beautiful daughter Olivia was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. You can read about my experience here on the various blog posts on my blog site, Simply As I Am. So once Olivia was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, I started to do research and I told myself that I wanted to be an advocate for special needs kids. Not only do I want to be an advocate for my daughter, but for others with genetic disorders around the world.
So I'm teaming up with my childhood best friend, Charity Washington, to host a pop-up party with Chloe & Isabel. This will be a fun fundraiser, where you can purchase affordable, cute jewelry for all personalities and all price ranges. If you know me I have been in Young Life ministries for over 10 years. 15% of the entire purchase accumulated from April 1st- April 15th will go to Capernaum Young Life because it gives special needs children the opportunity to learn about Christ. I will give specifically to the Young Life Capernaum camping because the kids will be able to go to camp and hear the gospel of Christ. The kids get the accommodations they need to have the week of their lives while at camps. If you want more information about Young Life, go to the website: www.younglife.org.
When you give, just know it is for a good cause. You will walk away with beautiful jewelry, a great feeling because you helped a special needs child go to camp, and that you have supported Olivia.
