Gifts to Give Special Needs Parents
Children with Down Syndrome go through ongoing therapy sessions to work on various developmental skills. As a parent, I would receive a lot of homework from Olivia's therapist and it became very overwhelming!
There are many toys/household items/resources that could really help with any child's development. I created this page for those people that like to give gifts and may not necessarily know what to give a parent of a child with Down Syndrome. Well I made a little list below. These toys are also excellent for any child at the appropriate age level.
Here on this page, you will find helpful gifts that you can either give to the kids, parents, therapists, or preschools.
Shop for Therapy Planner Stickers for Parents, Teachers, Therapists
A lot of times parents have to keep track of their child's therapy sessions. Teachers have to keep track of IEP meetings for their students. And therapists have to keep track of their clients. These are planner stickers to help them to stay on top of the appointments. These are great gifts for those that have a planner and like to stay organized! They have been helpful to me as I schedule Olivia's therapy sessions.
